Soft spot for trout

It’s been a while since I last scribed out the comings and goings of trout on soft plastics. And if I was to say that not much has changed in that time than my mum would surely paddy-wack my bum for telling lies!
The past few years have seen more plastics, more rigging styles and a dray load of techniques come forward from around the country and over seas to help us in our quest for more and bigger trout on soft plastics.
What started as a fishy Chinese whisper amongst the keenest of anglers is now being bellowed through the hills of the Snowys and across tarns in the central highlands of Tassie by the freshest of new comers to the sport to the old stalwarts of angling.
