Conditions of Entry

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. By participating in this promotion the entrant is deemed to have accepted these Conditions of Entry. 
2. Offer only open to Australian residents. Employees of the Promoter, Abu Garcia and the immediate family of these people are ineligible. 
3. Competition commences 9am EDST Monday 3 October 2011 and is valid until 5pm Monday 9 January 2012. The draw will be conducted at 9am on Monday, January 16th at Purefishing Australia – 16 Pioneer Ave Tuggerah NSW 2259. 
4. The winner will be notified by phone and email and their name will be published in The Daily Telegraph on Tuesday January 24 2012. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
5. To be eligible for entry, customers must register on purefishing.com.au between the above stated dates and agree to receive the Purefishing e-newsletters. By registering to purefishing.com.au customers are required to provide their name, address, postcode, phone number, date of birth and gender and an email address and/or mobile phone number where possible. By completing the promotion entry form, customers will agree to receive e-newsletters from Purefishing Australia on a regular basis. To withdraw from the database, customers must unsubscribe at purefishing.com.au. 
6. A random draw from all online Purefishing e-newsletter subscribers. The first valid entry drawn will win the Purefishing Summer Fishing Pack Prize.

7. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian. 
8. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries. 
9. The promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected claims. By accepting the prize, the customer agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements made by or on behalf of the Promoter in relation to this competition. The Promoter reserves the right to publicise the customer’s name, state, suburb and photograph through any print and electronic media and broadcasts in connection with the competition without any further compensation or payment to the customer, and the customer hereby consents to this. 
10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained from the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 
11. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 
12. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by the various Lottery Departments, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. Subject to the approval of all relevant State and Territory Lottery Departments.
13. To provide each entrant with this competition, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each entrant and obtain each entrant’s agreement in relation to handling this personal information. If you do not provide the information requested, you will not be entered into the competition. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending electronic messages. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. Upon the entrant’s request, all information provided will be removed from our active database. To request details to be removed, customers can simply unsubscribe to the Purefishing e newsletter at purefishing.com.au  
14. If any prizes remain unclaimed as at 5pm AEST on 16 April 2012, a second chance draw will be held at 10am AEST on 1 May 2012 at at Purefishing Australia – 16 Pioneer Ave Tuggerah NSW 2259 subject to any directions given under applicable law. The second chance draw winner will be notified by phone and email and announced online at http://www.purefishing.com.au within 7 days of the second chance draw date.
