I’ve been involved in the fishing industry for over 20 years and fishing for as long as I can remember. I’ve been a fly fishing guide, casting instructor, writer, fishing tackle retailer, custom rod builder, reel technician and TV & DVD presenter. I’ve collected 32 tournament casting titles and been national champion 3 times. I love and have fished bream tournaments since the year 2000 and cast a line in 4 oceans and in 6 countries. You can always find me at a good boat or tackle show and love running seminars and guest speaking rolls at shows, tackle stores and angling clubs.
My two greatest fishing loves are fly fishing and light tackle sport fishing. I first pick up a fly rod 20 years ago and made it my own. Mixed in with this love of the long wand was a desire to catch big fish on light line of which I still endure the challenge of today.
It’s quite reasonable to say that I’m absolutely mad for fishing, fish and fishing tackle and after so many years enveloped in all this, Im still as keen as I can ever remember.
